Presenting diagnosis: traumatic paraplegia
Planned procedure: percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) tube insertion
Past medical history: 1 ppd smoker
Preoperative meds: not provided
Other pertinent details: cervical collar in place
Anesthetic plan: general endotracheal anesthesia
