Patient: middle-aged female
Presenting diagnosis: status post repair of ankle fracture
Planned procedure: removal of hardware, ankle
Past medical history: ASA I
Other pertinent information: no problems with prior anesthetic; Mallampati class I airway
Anesthetic plan: general anesthesia with a laryngeal mask airway
